The Sierra Leone beach Volleyball players are in active training ahead of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games that will be hosted in Freetown at the Aberdeen beach slated for the 27-29 of this month.
The technical Director of Sierra Leone Beach Volleyball Coach Sorie Kamara has said that presently they have four male players and six female players that are undergoing intensive training at the Bishop house Volleyball court at the Siaka Steven Stadium in Freetown.
He said they players are doing so well as all of them want to represent the country and each of the teams will be made of two players each for both male and female and they are playing for one slot.
Coach Kamara said that seven countries have confirmed their participation and before the competition we are expecting to have at least 10 countries
The Acting Secretary General of Sierra Leone Volleyball Association (SLVA), Alhaji Mohamed Bockarie, has said that the association is looking forward for sponsorship as the association is dire need for funding as they want to have a successfully competitio
