The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded another phreatic eruption on Sunday morning at Mayon Volcano, Albay.
The Mayon Volcano spewed "grayish steam and ash plume" at 8:49 a.m. that lasted for 5 minutes, the Phivolcs said in its latest advisory.

Due to the eruption, residents from Barangay (village) Anoling, Camalig smell a sulfurous order and rumbling sounds were heard, the advisory said.
The Philvocs still advised the affected residents not to enter the 6 kilometer permanent danger zone to avoid harm caused by sudden explosions.
