TAGUM CITY - President Duterte on Friday said sparing the poor from the government's war on drugs because they were poor would be selective.
He said the law was clear and did not put distinction between the rich and the poor.
"So kung ikaw, mahirap ka sa buhay, I cannot do anything and say, 'Hindi kita hulihin, hindi kita patayin kasi mahirap ka lang.' That would be a selective justice," Duterte said.
He also repeated his line that most of the poor people get involved in shabu.
